Puma

Puma shoes are so super hot and trendy that it’s hard to believe that the company has been around since 1936! Ever since their shoes made their debut at the Olympics that year, on the feet of American legend Jesse Owens; Pumas have been a favorite among sports elite and eventually the hip members of the general public.

Mostly known for their football (soccer) shoes; Puma branched out and began to create shoes for other sports as well and eventually their unique style made it’s way into mainstream fashion with the kinds of sleek sneakers that Puma is recognized for now.

Puma trainers come in styles and colors that appeal to not only trendy young adults, but to kids and parents as well. You can even get your hands on super-cute teeny, tiny baby sized Puma trainers these days!

Birkenstock

What should you choose – form or function? Comfort or design? While you may need to sacrifice one for the other when buying shoes from most brands, Birkenstock offers you shoes that are designed with an ingenious combination of form, function, comfort and design.

A German footwear company, Birkenstock traces its roots back more than 200 years to Johann Adam Birkenstock, a ‘subject and shoemaker’ in Langenberg. However, it was only two generations later that history was recorded in all its detail with Konrad Birkenstock producing contoured insoles. This was the genesis of a philosophy that has made Birkenstock one of the most popular comfort shoe designers & manufacturers in the world.

Birkenstock is about comfortable fashion; it’s about good foot health and personal care. A wide range of designs available for both sexes, Birkenstock shoes appeal to men and women with the languid style of laid back confidence.

The most exciting part of buying Birkenstock shoes is that the ranges favoured by A-list jetsetters and prominent personalities world-wide are available at modest prices making the Birkenstock the perfect fit for every foot on earth.

Adidas

The popular footwear company Adidas has been around since 1949, when shoemaker Adolf Dassler, first registered the fledgling company. Adolf and his brother Rudi, who went on to form Puma, had been producing sports shoes since 1924. From even before it was officially Adidas, the company has been synonymous with high-quality sports footwear.

Though originally the name came from Adolf’s nickname “Adi” coupled with the first three letters of his last name, Adidas has become an acronym for “All Day I Dream About Sports”.

Very well known for their line of soccer shoes, Adidas has served as the choice for top players such as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard. As well as providing excellent soccer footwear, Adidas has in fact placed a large focus on the overall kit of equipment needed for the sport, including boots, team kits and warm-up suits. Their line of soccer materials are in fact used by many professional international teams.

As well as producing soccer shoes, the company makes footwear for basketball, football, tennis, rugby, baseball, lacrosse, golf, running and training. They also produce sandals, socks, eyewear and watches, all with a simple yet practical sports theme. The company is well known for producing outstanding athletic footwear, though nowadays their signature three stripes are seen on pants, shirts, hats, bags and equipment, as well as shoes.

Currently Adidas uses the slogan “Impossilbe is Nothing”, and they have proven this throughout the years by producing better and more popular shoes and athletic and casual items that impossibly enough have satisfied athletes and sports enthusiasts well, and they show no sign of stopping!
